So I Finally Finished The First Book for English AP, How to Read Literature like a Professor by Thomas Foster. It wasn't a bad book to be honest, and I feel now I understand English Books better than when I did when I first read it. Annotating was kind of new to me in that aspect as I really haven't done anything and it seemed kind of weird writing notes inside of a book, but I did it.
He expresses his views on various parts of literature, and gives you a pretty solid understand of the surface of Literature itself. What astonishes me is that he said towards the end we've only scratched the surface, ( Great, I think to myself, there's more?! )
Now the Second one should take much less time, at least I hope. With time winding down, I have this book, a project and then some Physics Study Island and SAT stuff to do. Then, I got some college stuff as well.
Isn't my life exciting?!

Well, That's it for this Blog Post. I'll try to be more active, haha.

Just writing this random blog and sharing my thoughts with you guys, here goes.

Q:What is the meaning of Life?

A: What is Life? What's our purpose here? Society will tell you life is short, and get all you can. But in reality, that's not all life is about. We live to laugh, to cry, to be angry and sad and all the feelings in the spectrum. Discover the unknown, read books( I don't read very often though), Play Video Games( That's me for sure!)
and so much more that I can't describe in a single answer. That's what we strive for, to share our experiences with everyone else and get closer to that meaning/definition of the subject of Life.
Living is something to be proud of, and as we grow older ( I'm quite young) we become wiser and make better decisions. But when we're old, will the young generation listen to us? Makes me think, the irony of Life. The term "Life's a b**ch" fits here most definitely as Life can be very ironic. Respect your elders guys, haha..

Q: How do you live, you know right?

A: That, I don't even have a clue about. Society will tell you living right is being rich, owning a huge mansion, having a nice family, and having your own Reality TV show. That's not it though. What's living right can be different for everyone else, including you and me and that guy that runs the grocery store a few blocks away.
Life is different for everyone.
What a statement. You know the messed up part about Life is? While we complain about the perks of a first-world country, having food to eat, getting our favorite electronics, sleeping in a wonderful house, and having the chance to live we take it for granted. While children in third-world and extremely poor countries are starving, homeless, and don't know when they're next meal is going to be and don't know what's gonna happen tomorrow. We're on Facebook and Twitter complaining about OUR lives, but think about it.. Do we really have the right to complain? I mean, these people are actually suffering while we enjoy our lives in this great country called America. How do they live right? Just having enough to get by? That, is something that has me thinking. Or would they be consumed by the very familiar and prominent feelings of greed and jealousy that us humans know all too well. The corrupt businessmen and crooks that become extremely rich but refuse to give away money to others or earn it fairly. Would those people if they had the opportunity strive to become rich? You, I, the man in the grocery store, and your next-door neighbor would all have once answer: Hell Yes. That's another thing to think about.

Q: What are we made to be?

A: Whatever you want. Be it a Doctor( that's something I want to become possibly.), a Lawyer, a Nurse, a Astronaut, or even something as terrible as a supervillian. Do what you want, haha.
Life is without limits, well they are limits but very obvious ones. For example, you're not going to win the lottery for 365 Million Dollars on Friday The 13th. Not that I'm superstitious or anything of that sort, but it probably most definitely won't happen. But can it? Yeah, sure.
You can be a comedian ( Please be funny), a actor, an actress, Mermaidman & Barnacleboy, or be a 26 year old fry cook working at a Krusty Krab Restaurant.(Spongebob!)

Well, that's it for this blog. Feel free to comment and share your opinions! Thanks guys!

Arthur James Thomas, 53 year old alcoholic and an amateur mechanic. He recently made a Twitter and I honestly have to say his tweets are pretty funny and interesting to see. He's a tenant at a friend's house that goes to my High School, and he asked me to write a blog about him.
He seems like an interesting person and could become something quite of note.

NEW YORK, (N.Y.): " An MTA bus driver is being hailed as a hero after he caught a 7-year-old girl who fell off of an air conditioner outside of a third-floor window in an apartment complex in New York City.
Steve St. Bernard came home from the end of his shift as an MTA bus driver and saw a 7-year-old girl that had crawled out on an air conditioning unit of her third-floor apartment. She was dancing, unafraid or unaware of the danger.

"I ran over there hoping that she wouldn't fall when I got there she was still standing there and I just positioned myself hopefully I would catch her," said Bernard.

Bernard made the catch, but was injured in the process. He suffered a muscle tear in his arm but said he'll be fine.

The Public Housing Authority said tenants don't need window guards on windows with air conditioning units. The NYPD said no charges were filed against the parents." - From The Article from YNN here.

In my eyes, I think this guy is a hero. Such a Saint to do such a non-selfish thing risking himself for this girl. I mean, dealing being a bus driver with the rude people on the bus day in and day out. Ordinary People Doing Extraordinary things. And He did the right thing after coming home from work and catching this little girl as she jumped and risking himself, Wow! I have a lot of respect for this guy. I heard about this news story while listening to WBLS in the car radio today while heading to New York and the whole story surprised me. Apparently, he was honored at a stadium at 5:00 PM Today for this and will recieve the 107.5 WBLS Heroes Award that is rarely given out in the mail.
And he says he's not a hero and he doesn't deserve any praise, He Does. Stephen St. Bernard, you're a great guy Thank you for this nice deed you have done.

Nice Job Bernard! Being a past New Yorker, living in Jersey now hearing things like this make me happy to have been and always will be a New Yorker. You know the saying, "Once a New Yorker, Always a New Yorker."

Girls always say they want Nice Guys, but when one comes around they turn them down. Why is that?
And Yet, they go after the jerks and scumbags and then judge every guy in the world as a jerk just like them because they made a terrible choice.
People do that a lot, and what I mean by that is stereotype. Think About This Example.
New Jersey Residents, You can Relate to this. I was born in Brooklyn, NY but I can defintely post something that everyone can relate to.
Take the MTV hit, Jersey Shore so people outside of our state think we're the same like those.. jerkoffs and douchebags . Giving other people a negative look on NJ. I despise the show to be quite frank, not only for the dumb people that are a part of it, or the culture it glorifies of being stupid and dumb, spray tans, but also what other people that come to New Jersey now start to think of us. Those people are from New York anyway, not even New Jersey. And To Those outside of New Jersey, we're not. Really feel the effects here being about 15-20 mins away from Seaside, we're not far from it.

Now you see an example of a stereotype, It makes you think, "Are they ever positive?"
That, is another great question. I personally think that if a nice person were to give the other person a great view on other people in your group/cliche it'd be beneficial but it could also be detrimental seeing as they would have extremely high expectations of you, and you could turn out to be a terrible person.

Well, I hope you enjoyed this short blog of mine.

You all know the Rapper, NaS(Nasty Nas, The Prophet, Now The Don) the Queensbridge dweller who said "I don't Sleep cause Sleep is the cousin of Death"?
His debut album/ crowning achievement, the one, the only, Illmatic shook the hip-hop world with its complex rhyme schemes and descriptive lyrics that shaped Hip Hop after it.
Often referred to as one of the greatest hip-hop albums of all time. NaS has been in the rap genre longer than most cats in Hip-Hop, dating back to as early as '91 with a guest performance on the song "Live at The Barbeque" by Main Source that surprised many hip-hop listeners at the time. People referred to him as the "New Rakim". A Multi-Platinum Artist, NaS has had great success in hip-hop and is thoroughly respected in the hip-hop community.

Note: Nas's Album Cover, the green dress is his past wife Kelis and it's genius! Nas always has a knack of having great album covers.
